I have been baking for more than a decade now and my favorite thing to bake when I have extra time is cupcakes. They take a little more time, than most baked goods, because you obviously have to wait for them to cool before you frost them and frosting and decorating can be as a quick or tedious a task as you wish it to be. For some reason, I love an extensive decorating process and the more embellishment I can put into one cupcake the better. I
usually love to dye icings, whip out the pastry bag, and come up with ornate designs and themes. Lately, I have been seeing the beauty in more delicate, basic cupcakes with just a touch of flair. I came across
these and thought they would be easy enough to recreate for some basic yet festive Valentines (or really any time!) cupcakes! So I whipped up a batch of
this last night (except opted for a cupcake form) for a few friends and the reviews were fantastic!
